Why calibrate?
Regular calibration is essential to ensure your instrument is operating optimally and providing results within a specified level of accuracy.
At Kenelec Scientific, we maintain an ISO 9001 quality system and are able to calibrate a wide variety of instruments including:
- Air Balancing Hoods
- Hotwire Anemometers
- Vane Anemometers
- Indoor Air Quality Meters
- Gas Monitors and Sensors
- Dust & Aerosol Monitors
- Liquid Particle Counters
- Particle Counters
- Respirator Fit Testers
- Water Particle Counters
All calibrations are performed by our highly experienced factory-trained technicians, and our calibration and test equipment is traceable to NMI or equivalent international primary standards and ultimately to SI Units, in accordance with ILAC Policy P10.
As well as capabilities for temperature, humidity and differential pressure, we are NATA-accredited (Accreditation No. 15814) to perform Particle Counter and Vane Anemometer calibrations under the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
Where possible, adjustments and repairs can be made to the instrument under test if it is found to be operating outside manufacturer’s specifications and tolerances. These adjustments can forego the need for instrument replacement, saving you time and money.
Following calibration, we provide you with a comprehensive report and calibration certificate (when applicable) and are able to return your instrument to you typically within 10 business days for minimal downtime.
To get started, complete an RMA form so we can issue you with an RMA number. This number is required for any enquiries related to your calibration.
