Webinar: Vaisala’s BMS and CMS webinar
Designed to achieve different goals, a Building Management System (BMS) controls multiple systems in a building, while a Continuous Monitoring System (CMS) records data for compliance and sends alerts to personnel.
A key difference between a BMS and a CMS is that any system used in a GxP-regulated application must be validated. While it’s possible to validate an entire BMS, those efforts are often cost prohibitive and not all areas will fall under GxP regulation. A BMS also relies on real-time information for control, while proof-of-compliance achieved with a CMS uses historical information.
Join Vaisala’s Senior GxP Regulatory Compliance Expert and learn more about:
- Efficient validation for GxP compliance
- Real-time data for control Vs. historical data for compliance
- Interoperability of data between systems
- Where BMS is adequate and where CMS is required
