TSI AM520i is now IECEx-certified in Australia
On 24 July 2019, SIMTARS (Safety in Mine Testing and Research Station) issued an IECEx certification of intrinsic safety (IECEx SIM 19.0009X) for the TSI AM520i SidePak Real-time Aerosol Monitor. The AM520i is now certified for use in underground coal mines in Australia.
IECEx is the International Electrotechnical Commission System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for use in Explosive Atmospheres and recognized around the world.
