The 9th ACLD and The 2019 ACS

Adelaide will become the central meeting point for combustion and laser diagnostics researchers this December, with two consecutive conferences:

 

IX Australian Conference on Laser Diagnostics (ACLD) – 2-4 December – The 9th ACLD aims to bring together Australian and international researchers to discuss the development and applications of laser diagnostic techniques. Keynote and technical speakers will cover a range of topics including recent developments in turbulent combustion modelling, the development and application of structured laser illumination planar imaging, application of lasers and optical diagnostic techniques for metrology, and more.

 

Australian Combustion Symposium (ACS) – 4-6 December – Immediately following the ACLD, the ACS is Australia’s pre-eminent biennial conference in the field of combustion. The event will focus on a range of topics related to combustion, and associated energy-related fields, including gas-phase reaction kinetics, laminar flames, turbulent flames and solid fuel combustion, to name a few.
