Introduction of fixed pricing for PortaCount calibrations
Effective from the 1st of October 2023, Kenelec Scientific will introduce a fixed price for the calibration of all PortaCount Respirator Fit Testers.
The adjusted price will include the cost of all parts that may need replacement in standard PortaCount calibrations that can be performed at our Australasian service centre.
The following items are not included in the fixed calibration price.
- Main board replacement
- Salt tablets
- Push nuts and probes
- All consumables
- Porta Punch and other accessories
Please also note that service and repairs that can only be done by the manufacturer, TSI as well as the cost of sending units to the manufacturer are not covered under the fixed price.
On average, the cost to calibrate and service your PortaCount unit will remain the same as would otherwise be, however the pricing will be structured in way to minimise operating expenses for all stakeholders.
By including the cost of replacement parts in our standard calibration pricing, we will be able to:
- Reduce quoting and approval administration for required part replacements
- Save you time previously spent on new purchase orders for replacement parts
- Inspect, repair and calibrate your PortaCount unit without delays, expediting the return of your PortaCount unit
