Noisy Neighbour Kit

The Castle Noisy Neighbour Kit is specifically designed for gathering evidence in neighbourhood noise complaint cases, simultaneously data-logging the sound levels and recording the sound itself on the integrated DAT recorder.

Having said that, the elements of the kit can also be used separately giving you the use of a powerful hand-held sound meter for multiple applications. As the case and connectors are weatherproof, it is also possible to use the kit for outdoor monitoring, be it a short or long term requirement.

As a Noisy Neighbour Kit, the DAT can be triggered in a number of ways, either with the remote button (supplied) for use by the residents, by level or by timer, the latter two controlled from the instrument.

The DAT itself is plugged directly into the control centre for the case, taking signals to and from the sound meter and the external switch. The DAT also uses this connection to receive power from the kit so you don‘t need to worry about carrying spare batteries.

The kit is also supplied with tripod, software, mains power supply and headphones for listening to the DAT recordings. Optional batteries and charger can be added to the case to give up to 6 days operation away from a mains supply.
