The AEROTRAK Optical Particle Counter Model 8240 is a new addition to TSI’s full line of real-time particle measuring instruments. Typical applications include testing, monitoring and certifying cleanroom environments for electronics, medical devices, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, monitoring gowning / ante rooms, testing filter performance and certifying efficiency, researching particle counts and size distributions.

The AEROTRAK Optical Particle Counter Model 8240 is a lightweight (12.8 lbs or 5.8 kg) portable particle counter that operates on the included lithium-ion battery or AC power. The Model 8240 has a 1 CFM or 28.3 lpm flow rate and counts in 6 user-adjustable bin sizes from 0.3 to 10 microns. The instrument features an integral thermal printer for on-site printing and stores over 100,000 data sets that can be later downloaded for analysis and reporting using the included TrakPro™ Data Analysis Software. The AEROTRAK Optical Particle Counter comes with a three-year warranty and meets ISO 14644 and JIS standards.
