Calibration Station - AirSentry II - 1
Particle Measuring Systems’ Calibration Station provides an accurate gasphase standard for calibration of ion mobility spectrometers (IMS) or other gas analyzers. Using a NIST traceable permeation device, the calibration station reliably delivers known concentrations of a calibration gas to an AirSentry® II IMS analyzer. At a known and constant temperature, NIST traceable permeation devices output a constant gas concentration for a given compound. Temperature, pressure, and flow control within the calibration station are all precisely maintained to ensure an accurate calibration, which translates to analyzer detection results you can count on.
The calibration station has been designed to generate both a “zero” and “span” calibration standard. While zero calibration is performed using a source of clean-dry air (CDA), span calibration is accomplished using chemically filtered ambient air for dilution, which better simulates actual humidified ambient sampling conditions. Combining this dilution stream with a concentrated gas stream from a NIST traceable permeation device generates an accurate span calibration stream. At any given time, either the zero or span streams can be sent to the analyzer for calibration.
