5W Argon-Ion Laser - LA 70-5
The LA-70-5 and LA-90-5 Argon Ion Lasers offer the best performance for advanced two- and three-component LDV and phase Doppler systems. The LA-90-5 has an advanced ""Super-Invar"" resonator construction for increased thermal stability. The LA-70-5 offers an aluminum resonator assembly for fast warmup and good pointing stability. Both lasers contain a refined plasma tube design which offers a mean lifetime exceeding 5000 hours and excellent operating performance over a wide range of tube currents
A sealed beam path with catalytic screens and stainless steel bellows provides trouble-free operation. A simple change in high-reflector mirror position allows the user to change from multi-line operation to single line operation. These features make the LA-70-5 or LA-90-5 the ideal choice for 2D and 3D LDV and phase Doppler systems.
These lasers are available as Model LA-70-5E and LA-90-5E for use outside the United States.
