Designed primarily for filter testing, the Large-Particle Aerosol Generator produces highly concentrated aerosol in a broad particle-size range, from 0.1 to 10 µm in diameter. It produces potassium chloride (KCl) or other aerosols, and it meets the requirements of the proposed SAE J1669, ISO/CD 11155-1, and ASHRAE 52.2 test codes. This aerosol generator works well for fractional efficiency tests of automotive-cabin air filters and general ventilation filters.
