TSI 8630-SC Standard Pressure Controller
To limit the spread of disease through a facility, patients suspected of having diseases spread through the air must be placed in negative pressure rooms, airborne infection isolation rooms. Similarly, immune-compromised patients at risk of contracting diseases should stay in positive pressure, protective environment rooms. PRESSURA™ room pressure controls continuously monitor room pressure differential to comply with standards from the US Centers for Disease Control and American Institute of Architects.
These controllers, however, go a step beyond simple monitoring; they can adjust the airflow rates to correct problems as they occur, reducing incidents when the room pressure differential goes out of control.
