Standard probe for three-component measurements. Sensor orientation designed to minimize sampling volume and minimize flow disturbance. For velocity and turbulence measurements to 150°C. Available in hot film versions for gases.
Inexpensive, disposable probe for single component measurements up to 60°C. Sold in multiples of six probes. Available in hot film version for gases.
Single sensor probes are used to measure one component of velocity. The sensor needles are designed to have minimum probe interference to measure cross flows. These probes are available in different sizes and configurations.
Sensors mounted 90° to each other and 45° to probe axis. Ideal for two-component velocity and turbulence measurements while providing minimum flow disturbance. Available in hot wire and hot film versions for gases (up to 150°C) and liquids.

Sensors mounted 90° to each other and in a plane 90° to probe axis. For measuring two velocity components, correlations, and flow vectors in two-dimensional flows. Available in hot wire and hot film versions for gases (up to 150°C) and hot film version for liquids.

Most TSI Thermal Anemometry probes are built with a plug-in connector. Thus, they require a probe support which serves to support the probe and provide an electrical connection to the anemometer. TSI probe supports come in a wide variety of configurations and lengths, for both single- and dual-sensor probes (standard three-sensor probes are designed with a probe support built-in), and for either gas or liquid flows. Right angle adapters, available for both single- and dual-sensor probes, allow probe mounting in an end flow orientation, even when the probe support is mounted in a cross flow arrangement. Totally immersible probe supports are also available for liquid applications.

Model 1304 control resistors are used with bridges that have a 5 to 1 ratio, such as TSI's 1750 and 1050/1053/1054 anemometers. The Model 1305 control resistors are used with bridges that have a 1 to 1 bridge ratio such as the 1:1 bridge used for high frequency applications of TSI's IFA100 and 1050 anemometers.
