YAG Lasers - YAG15-15

The TSI LASERPULSE Mini-YAG Laser is a key component of the PIV/PLIF systems offered by TSI. A wide range of energy levels are provided by the laser system, ranging from 15 mJ to 190 mJ, to meet different requirements of illuminations. The laser system also offers different laser frequencies up to 15 Hz. The system is compact and easy to operate. Full system operation is performed by the TSI INSIGHT 3G Data Acquisition, Analysis and Display Software with communication through the TSI LASERPULSE Synchronizer. Due to the dual laser head design, the pulse separation between the two laser pulses from the two laser heads can be very flexible. The range of pulse separation is from 200 ns to a few seconds. Such range allows flow measurements from supersonic flows to natural convection flows.

POWERVIEW Cameras - HS-200

TSI POWERVIEW™ series cameras are advanced imaging systems engineered specifically for PIV applications. POWERVIEW cameras feature sensor masking technology to protect the valuable camera sensor from damage due to stray laser light. In addition, they feature high spatial resolution, frame-straddling capability, and low noise characteristics, and are thus ideally suited for capturing PIV images, even in difficult environments such as high speed flows, large field of view, and sparsely seeded flows.TSI POWERVIEW™ series cameras are specifically engineered for PIV applications, featuring very high spatial resolution, low noise, protective masking, and frame-straddling capability.

Remote Focus Mechanism - 640050/1-R

TSI Model 640050/1-R series Remote Focus Mechanism offers remote and precise control of camera lens focusing for PIV and PLIF measurements. The Remote Mechanism is applicable to all Nikon F-mount (or equivalent) camera lens. It can be used for all POWERVIEW™ Plus and PIVCAM series of cameras, as well as the POWERVIEW series of high frame rate cameras.  The mechanism is extremely useful when the camera is located at a distance (as in a large wind tunnel) or is isolated (as an underwater probe).

Filters

TSI offers a full range of optical filters to satisfy even the most difficult measurement needs. Particularly important in PIV and PLIF applications, the correct filtering scheme ensures the collection of appropriate light signals, while rejecting unwanted wavelengths, in order to obtain data of the highest possible quality and thus the highest measurement accuracy.
