KS collects personal information from various sources such as direct and indirect communication with you including enquiries, surveys, applications, our website, etc. The personal information held by us depends on your relationship with us and may be publicly or privately gathered. It may include your name, position, company name, professional qualifications, memberships and contact details.
During calibration, servicing and testing of equipment any information gathered including records and electronic data are held securely to the extent possible using existing technology. Reports sent by electronic means are protected by appropriate commercial security measures to limit access or alteration by unauthorised third parties.
We will store the information you share with us securely and take appropriate steps to protect it from unauthorised access or disclosure. While no security steps can offer 100 percent protection, we utilise systems to prevent unauthorised access to the information we hold and limit access to this information to selected KS personnel.
Calibration results are not released to outside parties unless approved by the customer, but may be released to statutory authorities for legal reasons or to suppliers for the purpose of checking results. Calibration information is only released verbally to an individual who can be identified by our laboratory staff. We educate our staff regarding their duty to protect your privacy.
We do not sell your personal information but it may be used by us or our distributors or suppliers to send you information regarding products and services. We may also disclose your personal information to organisations outside KS such as government or legal authorities, professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, credit providers, debt collection agencies, marketing or our services and products suppliers.
If you send information such as your email address to us, it is sent at your own risk as the internet is not a secure environment. Please advise us if you no longer wish to receive emails from us by sending an email to our address as noted below.
Cookies are used in our online shopping system. They are mainly used to track items purchased during the shopping process. No credit card numbers are stored in our system. The credit card details will be passed to the payment gateway soon as the order is processed. By using our website you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by us.
