Aerosol Monitor DUSTTRAK™ 8520

The DUSTTRAK Aerosol Dust Monitor is a portable, battery-operated, laser-photometer that measures and records airborne dust concentrations. Use it to measure aerosols in a wide variety of environments, from offices to industrial workplaces. With a build in data logger to suit all your dust monitoring needs.

Environmental Enclosure DUSTTRAK™

The weatherproof Environmental Enclosure protects the DUSTTRAK™ Aerosol Monitor when used outdoors and in harsh industrial environments. Primarily used in outdoor settings, the wind- and rain-proof enclosure features an extended-life battery for long-term unattended sampling.

The Environmental Enclosure comes with an omni-directional sampling inlet specifically designed to sample efficiently in a broad range of wind conditions. The inlet on the enclosure samples most efficiently from 0 to 22 mph.

The high-capacity battery included with the the enclosure permits continuous, 24-hour dust monitoring. Two high-capacity batteries are included with the enclosure, allowing one battery to be charged while the other is in operation.

FitPlus™ for Windows™ Software

FitPlus software further automates fit testing by leading you through the fit test procedure step-by-step. Select the person to fit test from a list, select the respirator from a list, enter the mask size, and go! The computer takes over from that point on by controlling the PORTACOUNT and prompting the respirator wearer to perform the proper fit test exercises one by one. Since your undivided attention is no longer required, you can spend time getting the next person ready to go, or operate two PORTACOUNTs at once.

N95-COMPANION™

N95-COMPANION™ Model 8095 contains an electrostatic particle classifier. The particle classifier takes advantage of electrostatic charges that exist on ambient particles to strip out a predetermined particle size range of interest, from the broad range of sizes present in ambient air. The resulting particles leave the N95-Companion and are transported via flexible tubing to the PORTACOUNT for counting.

Nanoparticle Aerosol Monitor

The AEROTRAK™ 9000 Nanoparticle Aerosol Monitor indicates the surface area of nanoparticle aerosols that deposit in the lung, corresponding to the ICRP lung deposition curves for the tracheobronchial (TB) and alveolar (A) regions of the human respiratory tract. The AEROTRAK™ 9000 monitor is a portable, battery-operated diffusion charger + electrometer with real-time surface area concentration readout and data logging capability.

Particle Counter Ultra Fine

The P-Trak Ultrafine Particle Counter Model 8525 uses the same fundamental technology behind TSI's condensation particle counters (CPCs), well-proven instruments that have been used in research and industrial applications around the world for many years.

The P-Trak UPC comes with everything you need to start solving tough IAQ problems. Battery operated, it goes wherever you need to go. With programmable data logging capability, you can take the measurements back to your office for further study.

Particle Sampler lightweight

The RESPICON™ Particle Sampler is a lightweight, compact device for measuring human exposure to airborne particle concentrations in the workplace. The RESPICON uses a single sampling head to model the human respiratory tract and simultaneously determine the three most critical particle fractions: inhalable, thoracic, and respirable. These three size fractions represent the size of particles that can penetrate progressively deeper into the respiratory system.

Personal Monitor SIDEPAK™ AM510

The SIDEPAK™ AM510 Personal Dust Monitor for industrial hygiene and safety professionals displays and data logs concentration in real time. The rugged, belt-mountable laser photometer is compact and quiet, minimizing interference and worker discomfort. The built-in sampling pump lets you attach a wide variety of size-selective aerosol inlet conditioners for breathing zone or area measurements with a respirable cyclone or one of the three integrated impactors.

PORTACOUNT Universal Fit Test System

The Model 8028 Universal Fit Test System consists of a PORTACOUNT Plus Model 8020 and an N95-Companion� Model 8095 together as one line item. It is available at a reduced price compared to the two instruments when ordered separately.

Respirator Fit Tester

PORTACOUNT Plus Respirator Fit Tester Model 8020 is the easy, hassle-free way to reliably fit test a variety of respirator types. The PORTACOUNT not only eliminates the guesswork found with other testing methods, it also reduces the amount of work associated with fit testing in general. Plus, with the convenient FitPlus� for Windows� software that comes with each instrument, you can streamline the fit testing process even further by letting your computer do the work.

The PORTACOUNT makes a direct measurement of respirator fit factors. There are no error-inducing assumptions made to calculate "equivalent" fit factors. The measurement is made while the person simultaneously performs dynamic moving and/or breathing exercises designed to stress the respirator seal in ways that simulate anticipated work place motions.

Sampling Pump Calibrators

TSI now offers calibrators for sampling pumps. The Model 4146 has a range of 0.01 to 20 lpm, and the Model 4046, from 2.5 to 300 lpm. These small, portable instruments are lightweight and easy to use. The continuous display of volumetric flow makes calibration adjustments fast and simple in real-time. The calibrators are temperature compensated and pressure corrected to offer volumetric flow accuracy within 2% of reading. The calibrators can be used for personal exposure sampling pumps, environmental samplers and any other instruments that draw an active sample. The compact, battery-operated design can be used easily in the field as well for periodic checks.
