By using a PRESSURA room pressure monitor or controller, you can be assured your patients, staff and visitors are safe. Monitoring room pressure ensures safety by warning of inadequate pressure differentials. Controlling room pressure ensures safety by maintaining the pressure differential at the proper setting. Hospital isolation rooms have many special design issues including pressure, ventilation, climate control and air filtering. A ventilation system must be designed to maintain proper room pressure, contamination removal and thermal comfort.
PRESSURA Room Pressure Monitor
Hospital Room Pressure Products can monitor and control your isolation rooms and warn of unsafe conditions. The PRESSURA monitors and controllers accurately measure both negative and positive pressure. Versions of the PRESSURA can communicate with building management systems through an RS-485 interface, as well as display volume flow rate and air changes per hour (ACPH). All units are provided with alarm contacts and an analog output for remote monitoring of isolation room conditions.
